Mark Daniel “Dan” B. Gomez -AVP Operations/CFO
After passing the CPA Board Exams, Dan started his career on Personnel Marketing Support Services, Inc. (PMSSI), as the Administration Head in 2007, with the responsibility to manage both the Administration and Finance aspects of the company. During this time, the company executives decided to segregate the Market Research and Market Promotions services that they offered. Dan was tapped to manage the set-up of both Grand Marketing Promotions Plus, Inc. (GMP+) in 2007, and Grand Marketing Research Plus, Inc. (GMR+) in 2008, by which time, PMSSI closed up its operations.
In 2010, Dan decided to leave the company to join Accenture, Inc., one of the biggest Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) companies in the world. Here he gained substantial experience in Finance and Accounting, specifically General Accounting, Journals, Fixed Assets, Reconciliation and Financial Reporting. He was also exposed to SAP Systems and also became the SAP Super User for one of the major deals of Accenture, with the responsibility to support basic process and system errors and challenges. In this role, Dan gained knowledge and familiarity with all process towers of Finance & Accounting: Record-to-Report (RTR), Procure-to-Pay (PTP), and Order-to-Cash (OTC).
Dan also had the opportunity to lead work transitions and was sent to Indonesia, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia and Japan, for Knowledge Transfers (KT), Process Documentations and Trainings. In turn, he was tasked to develop the training materials and conduct Reverse Knowledge Transfers / Trainings to people who will do the work in Manila.
Having benefited from the extensive experiences for more than 5 years, Dan left Accenture in November 2015 and returned to Grand Marketing Research Plus, Inc. as AVP Operations and CFO. Aside from being the HR and Admin Head, Dan is responsible to lead initiatives for the simplification and standardization of HR, Admin, and Operational processes of the company, improve company documentations, and drive process improvement and efficiencies.
